You are most welcome to visit, but it is best to make an appointment as I don’t always work from home.
I graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan in English Studies (2004-2009), followed by the prestigious Conference Interpreting Programme (2007-2009). In 2009, I enrolled in a post-graduate course at the University of Economics in Poznan to study International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. Currently, I am focusing on developing my skills in the area of legal and medical translation.
Before I became a state-certified translator and interpreter of English, I was mainly an interpreter for nearly 10 years which allowed me to witness first-hand and understand how many businesses operate (including but not limited to manufacturing, management, production sites and warehouses). I was also involved in a number of audits for the food industry, wood processing, safety audits and financial audits.
I deliver certified translations not only as hardcopies with my seal and signature, but also as electronic documents with a qualified electronic signature.
I am self-employed and I issue invoices (VAT-exempt – but I do have the VIES VAT number required for international transactions).
I am a member of the Trade Union of State-Certified Translators and Interpreters in Poland (ZZTPwP).
In my spare time, I engage in guerilla gardening, support the Polish Society for Atopic Diseases, read non-fiction, and swoon over David Austin roses.
